The word "neocon", that is. But the question is, what does it mean? Who coined it? Maybe the reason I don't know is because I don't like Rush Limbaugh. The dude sounds like a cow that has been genetically modified to speak. However, since he has coined terms like feminazis and drive-by media, I thought he might be behind the term neocon. I want other GLP'ers take on it.
A neo-con is a liberal who profits from war and who switched parties. Not conservative, but rather a literal translation neo-conmen. Neo-cons are progressives, and they control both parties.
That is what they used to be("Liberal who have been punched in the mouth too many times" or something along those lines is a famous quote given by William Kristols father who I believe is one of the founders of the movement), there is very few true neo-Cons left in the democratic party, and there is definitely no power base and popular movements supporting their objectives within that party currently,it is all subversive. Neo-Con's are an interesting breed.
Correct. I should have said control both parties behind the scenes. There is really just one party in that respect. I consider Obama to be the crown jewel of the neo-cons.
