Original Message That's right, I said it first. Right here on GLP. I believe that when these former and current Al-Qaeda "rebels" take over Libya, accept billions of American tax dollars for rebuilding their infrastructure that the Government of Libya and their people turn the cold shoulder on the United States of America and fuck us over.
Probably by declaring war on one of our dependent states like Kuwait or Israel. Thus dragging the US into a major war that cost untold billions more and thousands of American lives.
I hate to be a pessimist on the entire Libyan Uprising but use one hand and count off five Arab countries we helped in last 50 years that hasn't made us regret we ever helped with liberation and freedom building.
I would say that 99% of America's Nation building in Arab and Muslim countries have came back and haunted us in the end.
Why does this Administration think they can do any better? If anything President Obama is more gullible and optimistic then all Presidents before him because he needs and wants some kind of victory so bad right now to help with his ratings and because of his idealistic belief in his so called "Muslim Brothers".
Time and time again this scenario repeats itself and the public is ignited in the furor of another despot displaced from their throne and another country released from bondage. Just to end up being fucked over.
So in closing...
... I will not apologize for not feeling the excitement for the Libyan situation. I'll just prepare myself and educate my children on the entire event. So that when, in the near future this headache gets dumped into their laps, they'll be able to figure out what actually took place in the last few days. Hopefully they'll have a better answer for the kind of shit nobody today in the western world, has been able to figure out.
