Original Message Seems to me the bible is an distraction by itself. Just like the politicians today. They tell you things that sound complex so that you can't fully understand it. That's why you rely on your leader because you think they are smarter than you.

The same is with the bible. It makes your life looks complicated so you will feel small. And you listen to the religion leaders because you think by doing so you will make your god happy.

Sound like the same? It is to me.
