Original Message Why are there heavy contrails in the sky on the days when there are large or largish earthquakes somewhere in the world. I've noticed it more and more lately. It's been clear skies for the last few days but today, as when there was the Japan earthquake, the sky has been full of them. Is it air pressure or something like that? Just wondered if somebody could explain to a divvy like me:)
