ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Was it a meteor or space debris?

A lot of KMOX listeners saw it: A bright green object in the sky around 8 P.M. Thursday.

“It was really low and traveling from east to west. It appeared bright green” said KMOX listener Samantha.

A number of listeners reported the same sighting. It lasted only a few seconds.

No official word on whether it was a meteor or space debris.
