Original Message I was on my way home from work when I noticed a star that appeared to be in the constellation Ophiucus, the direction that YU55 is supposed to be coming from. It's about 15 degrees above the ecliptic, and it was VERY bright when the sun was setting- almost just as bright as Jupiter. Could this thing be coming in earlier? Or could this thing actually be MASSIVE? I checked google sky and the only thing in the area was Venus, but Venus shouldn't have been this high above the ecliptic.

Maybe I'm mistaking for another star but I have never noticed this before. Has anyone else seen this?

I live in southern Indiana. I would get my scope on it but I live in an apartment complex and I can't get a good vantage point from here
