Original Message When I received the news, deep down inside, I felt a great sense of sadness; an almost sickening feeling.

Clearly, that's not a normal response.

It should be a happy moment; a joyous occasion; a time to celebrate life and wish the family nothing but happiness.

Of course, I kept those feelings deep down inside and put on a fake smile, as the rest of my family was on cloud nine, and still are.

I've become so cynical of our world, a baby being born can't even bring a smile to my face anymore.

Anyone else have this sort of reaction to new babies being born these days?
