Original Message
My girlfriend and her friend just came in and reported something large and bright with a possible tail slowing moving across the sky. We are about 30 miles east of Sacramento. Of course the first explanation would be a meteorite however their description does not really match. It moved very slow, it did not change in luminosity like a fireball, large meteorite or re entering space junk, and it was very close.
Anyone else see it?
