Original Message I just saw a huge ball of fire go across the sky. It's path was from SW to NE. I was looking out my window to the northwest at 8pm cst. I live near Midway TX, which is 12 miles east of I-45 and about halfway between Houston and Dallas.

It was probably space garbage burning up or a meteorite. Either way it is the biggest one I've seen. I've seen fireballs many times because I live in a rural area that hasn't much ambient light. I reported it to our local sheriff's department.

I am posting it here to know if anyone else in my area saw it. I would appreciate your reply.
