This morning we had a Power outage from the thunderstorm that blew threw, so I decided to cook breakfast using my homemade "Jet Stove".
I used it last month to make Italian Sausages and Peppers, they turn out great.
This morning I used it in my fireplace, there is no smoke since the jet stove burns all of the wood gases.
I made Breakfast Taco's with: Toasted Tortilla's, Bacon, Refried Beans, scrambled eggs, cheese and salsa. 2 -hours start to finish.
I Swear, the second I had the taco in my hand the power came back on ... lol
Still, this proved we were ready for anything, we are Preppers and have enough preps for years. As a family, everyone knew their task, like getting firewood, or the campfire cast iron skillets, ect... ect...
If You have not done any "Prepper Drills", no better time than the present. ;-)
I used one of these from Home Depot to make my stove since it had a lid and carry handle: [link to www.homedepot.com]
