Original Message As the title says, I am wondering if there is a prolonged power outage, we will need to have fresh water, and my well is accessed by an electric pump. As we all know, we cannot live more than a few days without water. Our well is approx. 200+ feet deep. We do have food stored, but to be honest, have overlooked the ability to pump water without power.

What is the best manual pump in this situation?? What is the best setup? What is the best cost efficient cure to this situation? Any products, websites, etc. would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,,,
