sun was in different part of the sky this morning.....very freaky and a little frightning

So i live here in port angeles, washington. every morning between 8:30 and 11 am, the sun is in the southeastern part of the sky. well, when it gets closer to 11 am, the sun is in the southern part of the sky. well, this morning at about 10:20 am the sun was, i kid you not, almost directly overhead. i just went outside and looked and the sun is still almost directly overhead and it is 11:32 am. the sun is in a TOTALLY differnt position than it has ever been. it has never been in this position in the sky. then i got to thinking, "that is what is really going on!. the earths orbit is different or something, but they're not telling us. we all go about our daily lives and one day WHAM! its all over with ....right up to the last nanosecond...just like the Bible describes. it describes how people will be working in the fields, going about their daily business and and out of the blue something will happen. out here in western washington the sun is never directly overhead, it always stays to the south and sets in the northwest
