[quote:Anonymous Coward 1380052:MV8xOTA1MjUzXzMxODUyNDI4Xzk0OTAwQjAy] Of courseit does. Its massive business and acts to feed another massive business. Tip of the day---ease into the sun, preferably expose yourself to it in the moning and evening, just like our hunter gatherer ancestors would have done. Mid day, when the sun is high and strong, seek shade or cover up. I doubt our ancestors would have hunter gathered in the mid day sun. [/quote]

I have a friend who is an MD who belongs to the "Life Extension Club". He said 92% of sunscreens have Retinal Palmitate (Vitamin A), which, when exposed to the sun, causes your body to destroy Vitamin D and consequently cause MELANOMA skin cancer - the worst kind of cancer you can get.
So, I checked my sunscreens, and it's in there.
Who do you know who uses sunscreen and got MELANOMA?
