New one, wrote the first verse yesterday and the rest today. I hope you enjoy it! For the meter-geeks, it's 15 syllables per line, with three 5-line verses.
Acting, Honestly
Honesty is a broken policy in a liar's game; Even a cameo is a parody of the actor. How long have I been a parody of my own character? If I've always been a spoof, is the original a lie? What is a parody of a parody in terms of truth?
The best fabulist says they are a terrible liar; "You would know if I was lying! I'd give myself away!" Or perhaps they would opt to tell you the liar's paradox: "Everything I say is a lie!" the trust is all up to you. Everyone is an actor; only a liar says different.
When you ask a question, do you get the answer you want? or do you only get the answer that you needed to hear? Is a character in a play honest to the audience? I've said a number of things here, all of which could be a lie - But I promise to you, I'm only acting, Honestly.
