Original Message Just noticed these quakes today and wondering what's up....All seemed to be at the same spot. There could be more quakes at this spot but unsure on how to pull them up.....

UPDATE: 04/08/12

Thanks to AC 1331430 further down, a Earthquake swarm has been CONFIRMED around Lake Isabelle. All the Earthquakes can be seen here:

Also, there was a few +2 mag EQs Yesterday, and today there has been a 3.0 mag:

Thanks to another AC, There is a number of fault lines close by, here's the post with information on them:

Gizzie,

We just passed the anniversary of the White Wolf Fault, the swarm is tied between the Garlock Fault and White Wolf.

Google: Tehachapi Quake and tie it into the White Wolf Swarm.
 Quoting: Sandbox Soldier 11235712

Thanks for that....Had a quick look through the wikis for the above faults and noticed the San Andreas fault is 50km away too. A lot of fault lines close by and some major earthquakes been in that general area in the past..

When looking at the Tehachapi quake wiki, noticed it mentioned that the Garlock last ruptured 500 years ago. When I looked at the Garlock wiki it stated that this is not a particularly active fault and it goes on to state that Garlock will produce another major quake at some point in the future...

Got plenty of reading to do, thank you....

Found this article on the Hot Springs there:

Hot Springs in the Sequoia National Forest

What is a hot spring? The textbook definition is any spring whose water is at least 15 degrees warmer than the annual air temperature in the area. They are formed from water that is heated underground and returned to the surface. In certain areas, magma or lava has worked its way up through the Earth's crust to relatively shallow depths below the surface.
