This caused major division between the two nations. Now...get this. Israel has been nation for 65 years. They have been thru war after war. Not once have U.S. Troops fought a long side Israeli troops on Israeli soil. Yet..when Israel's former allies on their eastern borders are being attacked or are about to be attacked...the U.S. Jumps to their aid. Israel has got to be angry.
Angry or not, whenever Israel is being quiet about something that is when I start to worry !
Barak and Netanyahu are lame ducks. They will take a beating in the next election. Anything stupid that they say now, will be in voters' minds in January. IDF chief of staff, Benny Gantz is a smart man and he cannot be pushed around by Netanyahu. Barak was at Entebbe under the command of Bibi's brother, Yoni. What did they do? Rescued a planeload of French Juifs. Benny Gantz rescued 14,000 Ethiopian Beta Israel in one day. The "Ugandan" clique can't touch that.
You guys...I don't know if you understand what this means but...Israel is being WAY TOO QUIET regarding Syria/Turkey. However...in looking at recent history it is really no surprise that Israel is not jumping to Turkey's aid. About a year ago Israel was caught spying on Turkey even though they were allies. And...in turn, Turkey was caught spying on Israel! Turkey and Israel both receive weapons from the U.S. Because both nations were llies with the U.S. And with each other. Because of this, safeguards were in place to keep Turkey's U.S. Made weapons from accidentally firing on Israel's U.S. Made weapons and vice versa. Since the incident of spying, both of those nations have removed their auto safegaurds. Now...Jordan...a complete and totally unique story here. Jordan's previous King Hussein made an outstanding peace treaty with Israel. This was huge because Jordan is arab AND it is a hashemite kingdom which means its kings are direct decendants of islams prophet, Mohammed. The other twist is Jordan is 75 percent palestinian. Now it happens that the U.S. Is frid that Jordan will fall to either Syria or Palestinians...that's why our special ops just landed there.
