Original Message I have heard a lot of people say that dogs would just be an inconvenience during a SHTF scenario. But I think they could be very useful even a pack of small dogs could be trained to hunt small game and provide a heads up if an intruder enters your encampment.

Our ancestors were helped tremendously by dogs. So I don't think they would be an inconvenience.
