Been there, experienced that - the pain will drive you to the surgical solution, which will indeed make it all better. Except for healing the small arthro incisions, you will come out of surgery essentially pain-free and ready to run a marathon. Seriously.
NO NO NO. check with your doctor first. and get second opinion. Surgery is the last LAST LAST LAST choice you should consider. Complications from surgery are quite common. Surgery is usually expensive, and only recommended for monetary gain by the surgeons and hospitals. Try all the methods you can do by yourself first. Cutting during surgery will create scar tissue which will need cut out again after a few years. (thus the hamster wheel of income for the hospitals)
Original Message
Not to be whiney, but my left knee hurts like hell. Been over a week now, swelling behind the knee, very stiff and hurts a lot to walk up and down stairs. My own diagnosis is a Bakers (popliteal) cyst. Don't want to go to dr. any alternative remedies or ideas are greatly appreciated!
