Original Message 'Idol' star Clay Aiken Subject of Gay Sex Allegations

...In an interview with the National Enquirer, John Paulus claims that he shared a 90-minute sex romp with Clay Aiken in a hotel room at a Quality Inn in Garner, N.C., located near Aiken's hometown of Raleigh.

Paulus alleges that Aiken, who has consistently refuted rumors of homosexuality that have followed him since his "Idol" days, contacted him with an instant message after viewing one of his Internet personal ads.

The IM, said to have originated from a screen name of 'valleyprettyboy,' reportedly stated "Hey man, see you're online. I'm 26 years old from Raleigh and would love to talk. I have pics but I have a very recognizable face and I can't post the pics. I would be happy to send them to you if you can promise absolute discretion."

Paulus goes on to claim to the Enquirer that Aiken met him in the hotel room, where the "Measure of a Man" singer allegedly stated that his ex-lover was "selfish and mean," and that shortly thereafter, "he started to feel my arms and put his hands on my leg."

"We started to mess around and Clay said he wanted to have sex with me," asserts Paulus. "Before I knew it, we were having unprotected sex."

"He kept telling me, 'We're going to do this many more times.'"

Paulus also alleges in his Enquirer interview that in subsequent e-mails, the singer had revealed that he "had just come out of the closet to his mother and a few close friends last year," and had recently broken up with a boyfriend.

The New York Daily News reports that Enquirer editors confirmed that Paulus passed a lie-detector test, and that he has reportedly retained instant messages and a DNA-laden washrag as evidence of his claims.

Aiken's representatives have yet to comment on the allegations.
