The hordes of the mainstream media are touting the recent drop in gas prices. People are giving Obama praise for it on the net. Am I the only one who sees the sucker punch coming later?
The last true "gas crash" was back in the late 90s, when the price peaked around $2.20 then stabilized in the sub-$1 range for a while; oil fell to $35 per barrel. The current state is not yet a crash, but a correction, since the oil stocks are still doing well.
IF
the stocks fall and the price per gallon it drops below $2, that would be a crash...and time to buy it up.
