Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
AMEN you are EXACTLY right!! People worshipping on Sunday are bowing to a command of the catholic church and NOT following scripture!
There is one time the Sabbath is mentioned after Paul began to focus on the Gentiles, “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.” (Colossians 2:16–17). The Jewish Sabbath was abolished at the cross where Christ “canceled the written code, with its regulations” (Colossians 2:14).
And that is NOT talking about the WEEKLY sabbath, but the Feast Days that were also called sabbaths! The weekly sabbath was NOT a shadow of things to come, it was instituted at creation LONG before a Jew ever walked the earth! The feast days though, such as the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Passover, etc. which were also called sabbath days WERE a shadow of things to come and were done away at the cross because Christ FULFILLED the book of the law written by Moses! The 10 commandments were written in tables of stone by the FINGER OF GOD HIMSELF, and NOT entrusted to man! STOP confusing the law that was nailed to the cross and the 10 commandment moral law of God that's been here for eternity! Without that law there is NO SIN, because the Bible tells us that "sin is the transgression of the law" Romans 4:15 .... if there is NO sin then satan would still be in heaven and NEVER cast out!! How about if someone came to your house, stole your car, killed your kids and then committed adultery with your husband? Would you still feel the same way? It's idiocy for people to think God doesn't have a moral standard or a law! Please people don't believe this foolishness that God doesn't still have a moral law and that moral law STILL includes the 4th commandment that starts with the word REMEMBER that most all Christians want to FORGET!! What a joke!
