how come when we were little, there were ALWAYS porn mags in the woods?

We lived on a road in West Knox County that dead-ended into the lake and was a major late night party spot for older teens, complete with discarded adult mags in the weeds. There were twin boys down from our house who had a fort in an old graveyard. One of my friend's brothers kept his mags in the recess under a bottom desk drawer, and another kid in the neighborhood knew someone who stashed his in the floor vent...
