[quote:Anonymous Coward 37488251:MV8yMTkyNjM2XzM3MTI2OTMxX0JERUM4NTE0] I haven't been to Maui, so I couldn't tell you for sure. I live on Oahu, in a little town called Wahiawa...really trashy but very affordable lol..15 minute drive to the shore. It's very nice, very beautiful...rains almost daily (not a downpoor, just small showers here and there) so when SHTF water wont be a huge problem...But being trapped on an island is very troubling sometimes. Yes we have everything we need..fresh fruit growing everywhere, water, chickens run around here like stray cats/dogs do on the mainland.....but it is a very crowded island lol. So be sure you would be okay being trapped on a small rock in the middle of nowhere, possibly for the rest of your life, if it came down to it. [/quote]
I am American, currently live in Canada.
Hubby and I have professional jobs, no kids, live in condo and are urbanites.
But we are not fulfilled.
I have been thinking we should drop everything and move to Maui.
Good idea or not?
