Original Message So my teenager & friends is listening to some screamo 1000 beats a sec music on spotify & youtube the other day & tells me the name or genre of it is called party metal. It was more like "I wanna die music,nothing party about it.

I'm very lost. Back in my teenager years it was poison & motley crue & aerosmith to name a few. They had good time lyrics,music & vocals you could understand.

I don't get it. Most of today's rock is angry music.
