Original Message A 41-year-old Portland man died Saturday night when he fell into a large meat grinder at Interstate Meat Distributors in Clackamas.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said Hugo Avalos Chanon was among several contract employees with DCS Sanitation Management who were cleaning the grinding equipment at the plant on Southeast Last Road at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday, April 27.
