[quote:The Tauremini:MV8yMjI0MDI2XzM3Njk2ODY4XzI0MzU2MDI=] Clearly Syria is becoming an extremely embarrassing foreign policy nightmare for the West. If they intervene, they have to deal with a Russian and Iranian response (whether direct or asymmetrical) If they don't intervene, either their increasingly expensive proxy army (the FSA) gets annihilated, or the war spreads into other countries and threatens America's allies Israel and Turkey. What to do? The incident at the border gate at Akcakale in Sanliurfa province, opposite Syria's Tel Abyad gate, happened on Thursday, Reuters reported.
The clash started after a large group of Syrians who had been refused entry into the Turkish territory opened fire across the border.
Some sources also said that members of so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) were among the group.
