Original Message NYC Mayor Bloomberg held a press conference and stated a downtown post office discovered a ricin-laced letter addressed to him. NBC news NY reports the letter was written by a pro-gun advocate and read in part, "This is just a taste of what will come if you try and take my guns."

Why is ricin always the toxin of choice when tptb want to bring an issue to the fore (again and again)? Especially so when they want to stir-up the masses and paint an unnamed opponent (boggeymen and 'evil doers') as waiting in the shadows ready to cause mayhem.
