i know, im not picking sides, im just saying that the hatred of the japanese for the atrocites of ww2 is a cultural trend for the chinese...its passed down by word of mouth from generation to generation and im sure it was part of the chinese state propaganda in the early days of mao to uplift the chinese by giving them permission to raise themselves above another rival group by a collective hatred ...similiar to the soviet propaganda films about america

China uses anti-Japan feelings to distract from internal Chinese problems. There are many poor Chinese angry about corruption in China. There have been many riots and demonstrations in China not reported very well. So the Chinese government says "hey, why not destroy a Japanese car factory instead?" And the idiots do it. It's like the "two minutes hate" in Orwells 1984. Release of tension and pressure.
