Original Message Is the area near Sandy Hook School the Bermuda Triangle of Newtown? Shootings, disappearances, fatal car crashes, now a home invasion that is being quietly treated as something much more sinister--what's going on in this small area of Newtown?

To add to the weirdness, black iron fencing is going up all over this zone, starting with Sandy Hook School:

"During a review of ongoing municipal projects Monday evening, Mrs Llodra brought up the gate, saying it was ordered and would be arriving for installation soon.

Public Works Director Fred Hurley, who was on hand reviewing the project report said the materials and design of the gate will be similar to those already installed at several local park sites and Fairfield Hills."

They will use that same black iron fencing to completely surround another property near Sandy Hook School:

"The public works chief also reported to selectmen that another lot near Sandy Hook center will soon be completely fenced off.

Mr Hurley said the Watkins property on Glen Road, a former industrial property that was acquired by the town, has enough hazardous environmental material still on site to warrant completely surrounding the lot with fencing.

“We feel it is significantly contaminated,” Mrs Llodra told her board, adding that selectmen should expect to see a transfer or special appropriation request, possibly in September, to cover the cost of installing fencing at the long vacant commercial site.

“This is a public safety issue,” the first selectmen said."

And it didn't start with 12/14; there have been plans afoot for over a year to conduct major demolitions, construction projects, and decontamination operations there:

Why does this small area seem to be the Bermuda Triangle of Newtown? Is all this demolition and construction in the same area a coincidence? Is it a coincidence that an incredible level of human violence is taking place--or said to be taking place--in this exact, same area?

If you combine the grossly-inflated cost of the new school, the decontamination projects, and the Fairfield Hills projects, we're easily past $100 million and counting. Is this about money, and was it, all along?
