By definition, a truely genuine athiest should be perfectly willing to kill herself on the spot at any given moment.

And I could really care less what anyone else believes in. If athiests want to believe what they believe then that is just fine by me. However, just so athiests are absolutely sure where they stand, they should fully understand the principles of their beliefs. Believing that there is absolutely nothing but a void after death, then there can not be any intrinsic value to life. It is the catch 22 for athiests. Unless of course they are armchair athiests or frauds. If you genuinely state that nothing exists after your death and that there is no God, by principle alone you should be capable of demonstrating your convictions by committing suicide without any hesitation at any given moment. Any possible excuse you might have to back out of committing suicide proves that in fact you have doubts and you admit that you are actually agnostic. Any excuse at all. Placing any value on life whatsoever means you are not an athiest. Just sayin.
The problem with that theory is that even if they are utterly certain there is nothing after death, there is no point in trying to prove it because..what are they gonna do?...off themselves and then pop back quickly and say "See..I told you so"? Maybe the fact that they cling to life so strongly is proof of their convictions. They reason that they have this one brief moment free from the void..so savour every second of it because they wont get another run at it.
But that would mean they are valuing life. True atheism by its own right can not place any value on existence. A true athiest should care so little about life that dying is an afterthought.
