1. One they do need to cause a drop in the value of the dollar, their looking to drop it 40%.
2. Two their looking for a distraction, because at this point the economic health of the United States is basically on life support. It's just basically surviving because of the trillions of dollars in treasury's which are not backed by anything.

We are basically looking at a Titanic situation.
