[quote:Arnie:MV8yMzkxMDE5Xzc4NDAxNDMzX0NERjQ2OUUx] [quote:InterMezzo:MV8yMzkxMDE5Xzc4NDAwODE1X0E3MDczMDU3] *Mezzo's Toilet Paper Riot (TPR) Report* I was at the supermarket at 8 am to make sure I got toilet paper. They were out yesterday and I thought: "Shiiiiit!" :finlay2: Well, it was kinda disappointing. To show up in a Carl Douglas Kung Flu outfit.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmfudW7rbG0 .. only to find three people there. One I suspected had been laying in front of the door the whole night. I could even sneeze (accidentally) without anyone looking scared or angry. No one was Kung Flu fighting. Apparently Dutch people nowadays are not willing to riot before 11 am on a Saturday. Where the heck have those days gone? None of those three were there for toilet paper either. One bought five cases of 24 bottles Heineken and half a loaf of bread. I said: "What the hell do you need all that bread for?" No reply.. Shelves for toilet paper and paper handkerchiefs were still empty, but they were stocking up.I took the opportunity to take two pallets of each off their hands, even though I have no space to store it anywhere in my small appartement. But I am all set till 2037. Can even use it as barter. *End of Mezzo's Toilet Paper Riot (TPR) Report*
:lh74:
I accidentally deleted the OP of this thread during some glitch issues on GLP this morning (10/30/17).
I will be posting some useful links in the next post to make it easier for those posting so you don't have to scroll through a massive OP. :)
I had to delete the first two comments on this thread to do so, but wanted to keep them so I've put them below.

I also would like to mention that I know this thread has MANY pages and that it can be somewhat intimidating to join/chime in on a long standing thread as a new member/AC (I've experienced it when I first joined GLP), but we are a VERY welcoming group to those who newly join us. We are a small family of sorts who are all mostly interested in the same earth-related topics (quakes/solar/volcanoes/weather/etc.) and share info on each of those topics as well as 'off-topic' discussions. We genuinely care for one another here and even when we do not agree with each other, we ALWAYS respect each other.
I truly enjoy when new folks join us here. All that I ask is to show respect. :)
