[quote:Isis One:MV8yMzkxMDE5XzgwOTcxMjA1X0VGNDY3MEEw] [quote:Simple27:MV8yMzkxMDE5XzgwOTY5MzMwXzREMTdCQzg0] I forgot all about this from last night until I saw the below video! Nef and I saw 3 last night. We were outside watching all of the fireworks and the sky was perfectly clear. I kept looking in different directions to watch all of the areas setting them off when something in the sky caught my attention. It looked like a VERY bright orange/red orb. Moving across the sky somewhat fast with no blinking lights. I pointed it out to Nef but we kinda brushed it off and kept watching the fireworks. A few minutes later a second one appeared and seemed to be following the path of the first one so at first I was thinking starlink, but no others followed at the time and they were WAY too low (and big) to be satellites. These things were super bright! And cruising by pretty quickly. Just very odd. About an hour later a third suddenly flew by. And that was it. No others, way too low for starlink, much higher than the fireworks, not planes/no blinking lights, orange-red color... In the below video he says 3 different states saw the same thing. So many additional states also saw at least one of these things based on the comments under the video and the number of videos on YT. The video clips in this video do no justice so I'm also posting some others that I found. Some also saw what I saw with it flying over. I accidentally deleted the OP of this thread during some glitch issues on GLP this morning (10/30/17).
I will be posting some useful links in the next post to make it easier for those posting so you don't have to scroll through a massive OP. :)
I had to delete the first two comments on this thread to do so, but wanted to keep them so I've put them below.

I also would like to mention that I know this thread has MANY pages and that it can be somewhat intimidating to join/chime in on a long standing thread as a new member/AC (I've experienced it when I first joined GLP), but we are a VERY welcoming group to those who newly join us. We are a small family of sorts who are all mostly interested in the same earth-related topics (quakes/solar/volcanoes/weather/etc.) and share info on each of those topics as well as 'off-topic' discussions. We genuinely care for one another here and even when we do not agree with each other, we ALWAYS respect each other.
I truly enjoy when new folks join us here. All that I ask is to show respect. :)
