Original Message Went to pick somebody up from the airport and drove along the costal highway. I looked to the right and noticed that the sea was smooth like glass today.

I've been here for a few years, and NEVER seen the ocean Like That!

Not one whitecap, for miles and miles! As far as I can see, it was completely smooth. It was so tranquil, it was kind of creepy. The best way to describe it is that the ocean looked like a big stagnant lake.
