[quote:Le Palma:MV8yNDE3NTk1XzQxNTk3MzMwXzk5NjMzQUND] [quote:Le Palma:MV8yNDE3NTk1XzQxNTk2OTA1Xzc3MEY3RjMz] [quote:centrist77:MV8yNDE3NTk1XzQxNTk0MzczXzc2QjMwMTlD] He man does wear a templar symbol on him, mad stuff is hidden in the cartoons.
Thank's for pointing that out!!! Exactly
Watching these He-Man episodes over again has helped develop my perspective on this comet business. They explain it from the eyes of a child, very simply. In short, there is no "good or evil" "side", and nobody is a winner. Power of any sort Corrupts, even in metals, ie Radon decay, oxidation, Reduction via the transfer gain and loss of electrons. Wizardry would work via the same process. Zagraz the wizard told that via his own foolishness, he tried to control two comets wandering(not bothering anybody) in space, He then used too much Power, destroyed one of the comets, leaving the other lonely and full of Rage. The Cartoon portrays Zagraz as one of the 'good guys' but Is He really? He interfered with the natural process of nature, spelled out a destiny created in his own mind, destroyed the The Comet's Twin Flame, and set the now lonely comet on a new course. He-Man is portrayed as the "good guy", but He is only following orders to Maintain what his Masters tell him is the 'Peace and security of their REalm'. What about Nature? Is the importance of their REalm more important than all created things remaining in equilibrium with Universe? The Comet Was now on a collision course with Eterium due to the a past interference of a wizard, Nature is self-organizing and self-correcting.
Our culture in the US specifically has been programmed to believe in a threat from an extraterrestrial source. We have also been programmed to believe that in order to bypass this threat, we are in need of an outside source of "savior".
The mere fact that a belief is widely-held is not a guarantee that the belief is correct.
