[quote:Heavenly Alchemy:MV8yNDMzNTI2XzQxODA1MDg5X0YzNEJDRUEy] [quote:tiger1:MV8yNDMzNTI2XzQxODA0OTUzXzExNUQwNTFC] You could have gunk stuck in it. Unplug it,turn it upside down, and shake it a bit, and check for debris falling out. If you have a dry soft scrub brush, lightly scrub around all the grooves between the keys, and then turn it upside down again, and tap on the back. Wet a cotton cloth with some cleaner and hot water, squeeze it well, and then wipe the keys, and between the keys. Let it totally dry for about an hour, then plug it back in. If it still is acting up, you need a keyboard. If it is working again, you are all set. I have a tendency to munch on snacks sometimes, when I am online. No matter how careful I am, some crumbs will fall between the keys, and jam them up. this is what I do to clean it up, and get it working again. Another tip to get the last life out of a keyboard. When your letters start fading, use whiteout to mark the keys. :) [/quote] Thanks for the tips, they will be tried. Love the white out one for later down the road. Original Message
I randomly pressed keys and now some keys work while others don't. The back key stopped working for a minute but I somehow got it working again. While trying to get the key working again by pressing keys another key stopped working.
I've searched online and the only answers are regarding spills or crumbs, shorted keys I know that isn't any of those issues because I was able to get keys work.
Please help.
