The online skyatching website Slooh will host a live webcast about the flyby of near-Earth asteroid 2000 EM26 on Monday (Feb. 17) beginning at 9 p.m. EST (0200 Feb. 18 GMT). The huge asteroid (which is the size of three football fields) will pass at a safe 8.8 lunar distances from the Earth during its closest approach. The average distance between the Earth and moon is about 238,000 miles.
