Original Message I've finally paid off all of my college debt, and am looking to start over somewhere. I'm in my early 30s, single, and have no children; basically, I have no responsibilities outside of paying rent wherever I go, and feeding myself.

So, where is a good place to go live a laid back, simple life? I have no desire to live lavishly or in excess. I also have no desire to live in a city (Been there, done that).

I've lived in NY my entire life and haven't really traveled much, so I really have no idea where would be a good place to try. Anyone got some good ideas? Thanks in advance.
