First Biden says he succumbed to injuries
"Vice President Joe Biden was the first to make a direct link at Tuesday's Tribute.
He said Simmonds put his life on the line last year in a shootout to hunt down the killers, "and he suffered a severe injury and ultimately he has succumbed."
Then later in the article they said the family declined an autopsy
"Simmonds' family has said they don't know if there was any connection between his death and Watertown, and instead want to focus on honoring their son.
They declined to have an autopsy conducted.
Without an autopsy, Leone said, "That could make things a little more complicated in getting an expert medical opinion on the cause of death and tying it to the a causal factor."
This officer was a 28 year old very fit health nut and he just dies and the family doesn't want an autopsy to find out why?? wtf really??
