Original Message theres alot of people thinking they understand volcanos on this board....
and yellowstone threads this year have been TERRIBLE

anyway.....

1) Yellowstone is not the biggest caldera in the world (lol not even close!!)
theres at least eight that are bigger!!

2) Yellowstone has not produced the biggest ever eruption, and could not cause an ELE (lake taupos biggest eruption was eight times bigger than anything yellowstone has done or could ever do and that would not be an ELE)

3) Yellowstone would wipe out the USA....this is the worst it could do. it wont change the worlds weather. it wont kill me in new zealand. just everything and everyone state side.

4) there is no such thing as a super volcano!!!
calderas, can, create an eruption exeding v:7
a sensationlist term that was coined for this is a super eruption, and idiots applied this to a caldera, re-nameing a super volcani.....
just like super cars i guess.
anyway, lame and stupid!!

i hope these facts can ground the americanised sensatinulism that is yellowteats!!!
