She is iNto those ghost shows so I gave her Dion Fortunes book so she could see how things work...I don't think she read a single page. She has no ambition to do anything. Yes she helps with chores but sometimes half assed or only when absolutely necessary.
Man, here's what I would do... Sit her down and relay everything you are feeling exactly how you feel it. Don't sugar coat anything. Be completely honest with her and explain why these things make you feel the way you do. Give it a couple of weeks to see if anything changes. Don't push it on her, just see if she does it on her own. If she doesn't make an effort to change, then start looking at getting out of the marriage. Keep a record of what she does and doesn't do so you can relay that in the divorce.
On top I have health issues working to pay for all this shit. It didnt start out that way. She had a job and quit when I got promoted, assuming I would carry the load. I would'nt even mind if she did something productive, or even if we had kids, but rotting in front of the tube all day is disgusting. I didnt sign up for this. Thinking of confronting her - either help or we downsize, major. No pool, no fucking luxury car. I love her but feel like Im being exploited, its bad enough at work but I don't expect it from family.
