Original Message The Yellowstone tilt meter #208 is shown here:

Tilt meter #208 is rapidly increasing in "X" rotation, and rapidly decreasing in "Y" rotation. Note that the chart goes back to 2008, but only since January 2014, is the tilt increasing dramatically.

The tilt meter is located at the very northern tip of Lake Yellowstone, as shown on the map here:

Hover your mouse, just over the Highway "16" sign, to get the name of the #208 tilt meter to pop up.

If the "X" is increasing, that is consistent with the caldera being to the west of the tilt meter (rising on the west side).

Also, the "Y" tilt decreasing is consistent with the center of the caldera being south of the tilt meter (rising on the south side).

This research paper states that a tilt of only 0.2 micro radians was enough to get an indonesian volcano to erupt.

Terrifyingly, the yellowstone tilt meter is showing 200 micro radians, and steadily climbing (100 times the Indonesian volcano).

This paper documents that the tilt meter shows big changes minutes, or seconds, before an eruption begins:

I would guess that a caldera as large as Yellowstone, will need hours, or days, of rapidly changing tilt, just before the eruption. So, that MAY BE the best and/or ONLY warning sign of the big one from Yellowstone. I will be watching the tilt meters, from now on (privately). Hopefully, they will remain accessible!

This tilt meter "raw" data should be available to the public, not buried in some university internet directory!

Happily, the other tilt meters around the area, show only gradual increases (still very bad news). Here are the links to T205 and T207: [link to pbosoftware.unavco.org] and: [link to pbosoftware.unavco.org]

Taken with the ground uplift, the huge helium-4 increase, the fleeing animals, the venting steam, and the turbulent flow noise patterns on the seismographs, this seems to point to...

Time to be humble, and learn our place, here. Without knowing our place, the earth has no choice, but to knock down the invasive species (and I concur with her).

(Sorry if this is covered elsewhere!)
