END OF EDITS
In the spirit of "a picture is worth a 1,000 words,
one way of communicating the possible combinations in
the storm which started Wednesday this week--and also
continuing into the weekend in the East--would be:
Hollywood's "Twister" meets "The Perfect Storm!" The
WILD CARD will be if the solar activity goes off to
provide the "engine" driving the storms.
TWISTER

"Twister" w/Bill Pullman and Helen Hunt
AND...Expected to be a "ramping-up" of these weather
cells in the next 2 to 3 days INCREASING IF WE
SEE AN X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE. The sun is driving these
"super-cells" and can pop-up without warning. STAY ALERT!

"X-Class" ready!

Sadly, we will still be looking at Sunday/Monday
(5-11 thru 5-12) for possible severe weather and
tornados in OK and N.Texas due to a cold front coming
into the area. Here is an excerpt from the weather
warning:
HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORMAN OK
435 AM CDT FRI MAY 9 2014
SUNDAY AND MONDAY... THE BETTER CHANCE FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY... WITH A SLIGHT RISK NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM HOLDENVILLE AND ADA... TO MARIETTA OKLAHOMA. THIS INCLUDES ALL OF WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. A COLD FRONT WILL EXTEND ACROSS NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH A DRYLINE EXTENDING SOUTHWARD FROM THE FRONT NEAR THE TEXAS PANHANDLE-OKLAHOMA BORDER. STORMS COULD INITIALLY DEVELOP NEAR BOTH OF THESE BOUNDARIES THEN BECOME MORE NUMEROUS AS THE COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE REGION. THESE STORMS WILL THEN LIKELY DEVELOP INTO ONE OR MORE CLUSTERS OF
THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. STRONG INSTABILITY AND
SUFFICIENT WIND SHEAR ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR SEVERE STORMS. VERY LARGE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS WILL BE THE MAIN CONCERNS INITIALLY WITH DAMAGING STRAIGHT-LINE WINDS AND LARGE HAIL BECOMING THE MAIN HAZARDS LATER IN THE EVENING/OVERNIGHT.
THERE WILL BE A TORNADO THREAT SUNDAY EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL WHICH COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING WILL ALSO BE A CONCERN LATE SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
END EXCERPT
Heads-up!
SK
DO NOT "SHELTER" IN A CAR DURING THESE STORMS!
