Original Message I'm sure you wondering how all of the words in my subject correlates with one another ...so here goes ...

my acid reflux was cured by kombucha

I'm 35 ...when I was about 23 I started having acid reflux quite often .... It progressed to the point that I had it all the time and so about 7 years ago I started taking Pepcid ac before every meal....if I don't take it the acid reflux is unbearable

So I have a friend who brews her own kombucha and she have me some ...I did a little research on it and it said that it was good for candida and acid reflux amoung many other things ..

Once I started researching candida I found out that candida (overgrowth of yeast in the gut) can cause acid reflux

So I went back into my memory bank and I remembered that I had started seeing this one women about the same time I started suffering from acid reflux ....

About a month after we had been sexually active I started noticing a yellow discharge from my penis ...I immediately thought crap and went to see the doctor ....I was sure it was gonnerhea but it came back negative and they said it was just a bacterial infection that was probably yeast related and they have me antibiotics.... My partner at the time felt horrible about it but I told her not to worry and continued being sexually active with her included was oral sex

So my theory is that she suffered from an overgrowth in candida (yeast infection) in her vagina and when I gave her oral pleasure the candida went into my gut ....started to overgrow and back things up causing the acid reflux to set in ....another reason I think the acid reflux is candida related is because when I do a no carb diet I have zero , natta , zilch ...heartburn and I can only theorize it's because the candida is being starved because it's getting no carbs or surgar

Anyways ...I'm just happy the kombucha has helped to bring the acid reflux to an end
