Scientist: 4.2-magnitude quake 'probably an aftershock'
Sunday night's 4.2 magnitude earthquake was "probably an aftershock" of the quake that struck in Encino on March 17, one earthquake scientist has reported. .
Aftershocks of that temblor -- sometimes called the "Shamrock Shake," because it occurred on St. Patrick's Day -- have been ongoing, she noted, with a magnitude 2 aftershock on April 3 and five magnitude 1 aftershocks in May.
