Original Message Over the last day or two, some nasty looking long period tremor type events have been happening under the massive mountain volcano:

That's just a sample, but there have been many of them now, and word has it that there has been a special kind of volcanic signature known as a "tornillo" spotted there.

In addition, the GPS units have all been trending upwards lately, making one wonder if magma could be inflating the beast.

Now the doom in Iceland is fine and all, but if you live anywhere near Rainier, you'd better keep your eyes on that thing. Cause if it blows, you are in for a REAL bad hair day.

From Wiki:
Mt. Rainier is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world, and it is on the Decade Volcano list.[7] Because of its large amount of glacial ice, Mt. Rainier could potentially produce massive lahars that would threaten the whole Puyallup River valley.
