Original Message "The crisis is forcing the U.S. healthcare system to consider withholding some medical interventions because they are too dangerous to doctors and nurses and unlikely to help a patient.

Officials from at least three hospital systems interviewed by Reuters said they were considering whether to avoid some procedures or leave it up to individual doctors to determine whether an intervention would be performed."

Okay....so basically we are screwed even with Western healthcare, because the people who might administer the technology that could save us might choose not to deliver it for fear of their own skins.

Hippocratic oath much?

This article is telling the truth...and why would interventions be unlikely to help a patient...this is clearly the second concern, the first being "because they are too dangerous to doctors and nurses."

We are fuckity fuck fuck fucked. Our medical establishment is going to abandon us to the wolves if we get sick.
