'A fire Tuesday in a section of the Northern Tier Energy refinery in St. Paul Park led to an evacuation, but the company says the fire was put out quickly.

The fire started in a vacuum tower at about 10:30 a.m. The unit was not in service and was undergoing maintenance."

So, that was the first refinery fire I have ever been in. It made my ass pucker. The flames were reaching up 40 feet or so, hard to tell when you're down wind and the smoke is in your face.

I'm not sure what their definition of "quickly" is, just that it's different from mine.
