Original Message For those of you who still cling to the idea that you live in a physical matter reality are simply holding on to a dying paradigm. Since the discovery of particle/wave duality, superposition and the measurement problem physicists have struggled with the reasons as to why a particle collapses from wave-function when measured.

What is a wave-function? It is when the particle exists in a probability distribution in a state of superposition meaning it is in many states at once. When we observe or measure the particle the wave-function collapses and the particle appears as a solid state object.

When the particle is not being measured it no longer exhibits solid state properties and behaves like a wave. Protons, Electrons and even entire atoms and molecules exhibit interference patterns meaning they are wave-functions, not solid particles.

Physicists state that the criteria for wave-function collapse is the act of measurement. Without measurement (observation) we know that particles do not exist as a solid object. So why is this the case?

Simply saying it's measurement that causes decoherence is not enough of an answer. What is really going on here? Why is there duality in matter if matter is supposed to be solid?

The answer lies within the measurement problem. Let's better define the measurement problem as information access. When information is being accessed, the information must be rendered into a view. The particles are composed of data, and when we access that data via measurement the particle described in that data is then rendered from information.

This is in line with a new law, the Law of Information Conservation which applies to a virtual reality, not a physical reality. In a virtual reality, the simulator does not have to render all the information available in every state of probability. Rather it only renders the relevant data that is being accessed within the system.

Particles are the end result of information processing and are a rendered output, the final product produced from this information when the simulator renders the particle into a view.

The truth is, we do indeed exist in a simulation. This is a virtual reality. Matter is a simulation. Space is a simulation. Time is a simulation. That is the true nature of reality. The matrix as it would seem, is more real than we would think.

You are an avatar in a virtual reality simulation. Enjoy the game.
