I think you are right. She is attention seeking and her response is in line with her brand as a celebrity. I disagree with you about whether she is a victim of gender violence. It is a fine line between saying things and doing things. If any headway will be made in ending gender violence then humanity needs to embrace the concept on the fundamental level of language. Hopefully by standing up for herself she will inspire other women to do so in their lives no matter where on the scale of gender violence/discrimination the incident might be. [/quote]

Looks like the CEO of Twitter could use a grain of the wisdom of GLP because he sucks at stopping trolls.
Love her hate her no woman deserves the words Tweeted to Ms. Judd over March Madness.
I am glad she is taking a stand to hold morans accountable.
Twitter hasn't been the most effective at dealing with harassment and abuse by its users. In an internal memo leaked last month, CEO Dick Costolo admitted, "We suck at dealing with abuse and trolls on the platform and we've sucked at it for years." The company is attempting to address the problem. On Tuesday, Twitter announced on its blog a new feature that allows users to report threats that might warrant action from law enforcement.
The blog post ends with this disclaimer: "While we take threats of violence seriously and will suspend responsible accounts when appropriate, we strongly recommend contacting your local law enforcement if you're concerned about your physical safety."
Looks like Judd is doing exactly that.
